1. Black and white cards are not very memorable. Unless you have a very good reason for doing a plain black and white card, such as may be the case if you work for a law firm, add a little colour to your cards. Marketing experts have long proven that colour grabs attention and is more memorable.
2. Business cards that are different are more likely to be kept.
3. Use both sides of the business cards. You can list your products or services at the back or even a special offer for those that come to your business with the card. It’s a cheap but effective way of advertising your products and services.
4. Avoid typos. They are annoying and don’t portray a good image of your business. Well… if you can’t spell how can we trust your products and services?
5. Try different business card layouts. As long as you stick to the correct dimensions for your business cards there is nothing wrong with experimenting with the layout. Let your unique business personality and style come through in your cards.
